Term One had all classes exploring a range of musical concepts through chants, raps, songs and movement. I look forward to more singing, playing, composing, improvising and listening fun with all classes this term.
Students are warmly welcomed to join the following extra-curricular groups:
Sing Up! - with Mrs Burt - for all enthusiastic singers from Years 3-6. Mondays, first half lunch.
Band - with Mr Young and Mrs Burt - for all brass, woodwind and percussion players who have been learning for 6 months or longer. Thursdays 7.30am.
Guitar Ensemble - with Vickie Manning - for all guitar players who have been learning for 6 months or longer. Thursdays, first half lunch.
Learning an instrument
Enquiries from parents of students who would like to begin learning a musical instrument are most welcome. Please fill out an Individual Music Tuition form at the office. Private tuition on the following instruments is offered.
